Who is monique?
My name is monique,a presenter and broadcaster, presently working with vibes 97.3 fm benin, after spending 4years working with Stv/rhythm 93.7 Benin,Monique is a very humble and down to earth lady, who loves to put a smile on the faces of people.

When and why did you start doing music professionally?

well,i just got into the music industry professionally, though i recorded this single ''BIG GIRL'' in 2011 but i wasn't comfortable with it,because i know a good work when i hear it.I wasn't ready for the music thing so i choose to chillax on it and go about my career as an on Air Personality, though a lot of people kind of liked it but i didnt, but i realized i had a good work pending, but a very good friend of mine ''C.E,O TOR RECORDS,Lord fizo asked me to re-do the song and i felt i aslo had a massage to pass,so i went on with it and here we are,big girl things.

what's your Educatinal Backgroud like?

well i am an undergraduate of The University of Benin,Department of theatre Arts,Part time, though i had just my final year exams to go,until the Asuu strike came in so its pending.

Your Debut single ''BIG GIRL'' was a success..Even when many people are not yet familiar with your Brand yet....How did it work?

well.it's all being God's grace and my work and attitude towards people,i believe in the words, what goes around comes around,it's what you give to the world, the world gives back to you,so am not surprised because i've  paid my dues.

What does monique mean?

Monique is actually the french name for monica, thats my real name, which means noble and i've always loved french though i dont know how to speak much and i'm a special being,Am unique so its strictly monique Unique.

Have you Ever Been Dumped By a Guy?
well yeah, but they say once beaten twice shy,i used to be vulnerable, you know let people see through me that am an easy going person but that doesn't work all the time, sometimes you got to be hard,so you're not taken for granted, mehn i don hard now but that doesn't mean am gone use my past against my future relationship, that's gone be pretty foolish, you just have to be smart, know what you want and go for it.

By this time next year, where do you hope to be?
wow, next year to near now, infact am already in 2014 cause you need to plan ahead and commit them to God,well by the i should have my album ready and could focus on my acting career..

Do you have any celebrity crushes?
celebrity crush?honestly i don't.

Are you in a relationship at the moment?
No,just working.

Be sincere,do you think any nigerian artiste is over-rated?
well...like i said everyone's special one way or the other,so if they over-rated i'd say its their time,i don't think anyone is over-rated,i just feel its the person's time to shine, everyone in life definitely has their time..

What's your favorite song at the moment?
Though i got couple of songs i love but at the moment or forever it'll be shania twain, from this moment..

Tell us little about your new single ''BIG GIRL''?
Big girl talks about thee independent/single mothers who do all they can to make ends meet,
some men feel that women cannot do or be anything without them, nut no matter what they should push and fight to succeed because at the end a man would always respect a lady who does something meaningful with her singleness, monique says so..

What words of inspiration do you have for your fellow artiste out there..struggling to make a mark in the music industry?
its simple don't be another person be yourself, love yourself, appreciate your works, believe in yourself.Thanks.
